The latest book released in mid October investigates the history of the Lincolnshire town of Spalding between 1900 & 1970, and is to be what Michael J Elsden believes will be the last chapter in the “Aspects of Spalding” series bringing this enthralling collection of books to and end.

Michael was joint author with the late Norman Leveritt of Aspects of Spalding 1790 to 1930 which was published in 1986, followed by Aspects of Spalding People and Places which was published in 1989. In 1994 Michael wrote A Short History of Spalding Shipwreck Society and in the year 2000 his book Aspects of Spalding Villages was published, followed in 2001 by More Aspects of Spalding and in 2003 Aspects of Towns and Villages.
