Welcome to Birchgrove Garden Centre
Set within the heart of South Holland is Birchgrove Garden Centre a family business where you are always guaranteed a warm welcome.
Birchgrove Garden Centre opened its doors to the public on Thursday 12th April 1973. The brainchild of Adrian Moerman, the garden centre was built on land at the front of his pot plant nursery in Pinchbeck.
The original site (around 6 acres) consisted of a garden shop, outdoor plant area and portacabin selling pigeon corn.
In 1990 the Slinger family took over the business and Birchgrove has remained with them to this day. Over the years many alterations and improvements have been made including the addition of 2 steel clad buildings, one of which now houses the garden shop, the other the pet centre 'Megapets' and equestrian store 'Bettertack'. Other additions include a coffee shop, Flower Bulb Museum (NOW CLOSED) and covered outside area.
Birchgrove is situated on the B1359 just north of Spalding between the villages of Pinchbeck & Surfleet.
Head towards Spalding then follow the brown signs marked "Bulb Museum" , which is located within Birchgrove Garden Centre. Please note however that the museum is now CLOSED
